Abhartach (also avartagh, Irish Gaelic for dwarf) is an early Irish legend, which was first collected in Patrick Weston Joyce's The Origin and History of Irish Names of Places (1875), which has led some to suggest that it may have been the prototype for Bram Stoker's Dracula. Abhartach should not be confused with the similarly-named Abartach, a figure associated with Fionn mac Cumhaill.

Over the last few years there have been many people who have shared in their experience of seeing orbs here on our website and other websites throughout the net. Ka is an ancient Egyptian name used in reference to the astral being. The ancient Egyptians believed Ka was the supervising entity for all human mortality. Ka was viewed by the Egyptians as a spiritual double which continued to exist after death among the living A guide in the physical world, so to speak. The translation of death in ancient Egypt was "going to one's Ka. The ba, or soul of a human, remained very close with the Ka" in burial. Burying the dead was of religious concern in Egypt, and Egyptian funerary rituals and equipment eventually became the most elaborate the world has ever known.

One of the most current and popular circulated stories involving the origin of vampires is that of the Biblical Cain. The story begins in Genesis with the following:
Adam and Eve had two sons, Cain, a tiller of the ground, and Abel, a shepherd. Both brought offerings to God, Cain brought the fruits of the ground, and Abel, brought one of his flock as an offering.

There are a fair number of views of what awakening actually is. For the purposes of this piece of writing, I will give my own view of what this means as it is relevant to understanding this article. To me, awakening is recognition. It is the understanding that you are more than just an everyday human. You have discovered that there is a part of life that goes unrecognized by most and it has changed you in a significant way. This change is not just psychological, but it is all encompassing.
